Pittsburgh: The Food
Okay, getting a little behind here as Joanna tries to get all of her revisions done, but here's the continuing stoooory of a quack whose gone to the dogs...wait...sorry, got a little distracted there.
Anyways, just a smattering of our culinary adventures. It started out with a meal at a little Parisian bistro in Sewickley--french onion soup, a little salad, croque monsieur for Tim, and a Tartine du Mont Blanc for Joanna (a sandwich with brie, potatoes, and pancetta--never had potatoes on a sandwich before!).
Of course we couldn't visit Pittsburgh without going to the Strip District.
And if we're in the Strip District, we have to get breakfast at DeLuca's.
And if we're in DeLuca's, we have to look out the window at Penn Mac.
And if we go into Penn Mac, we have to listen to the Dear Heart Lady.
And if we listen to the Dear Heart Lady, we have to get some cheese.
And if we get cheese, we had to got to Prestogeorge to get good coffee to go with it.
And if we get good coffee to go with it, we have to find good friends to share it with us.
And if we find good friends to share it with us, we might end up partaking in a Sicilian feast.
And if we partake in a Sicilian feast, we'll get some tired babies.
And the only way to revive tired babies is to take them back to the Strip District another day, for their first... (stay tuned for the next installment!)
